The Department of Driver Services (DDS), located at 348 Thomas Frier Sr. Drive in Douglas, will be closing to the public at 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, for renovations.  Plans are to reopen on Tuesday, August 9; however, customers should check the DDS website at www.dds.ga.gov to verify that the construction went as planned.

In addition, customers should note that Tuesdays are always our busiest day for service.  Planning to visit later in the week will ensure optimal service.  Typical hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  In addition, many driver licensing services are available online 24/7 at www.dds.ga.gov.

DDS appreciates your help and support during this renovation aimed at allowing our team members to serve the community more efficiently.
