Mrs. Shirley Faye Brigmond Smith, age 75, of Douglas passed away early Monday morning, August 1, 2016, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Smith was born February 9, 1941 to the late Allen Lindsey Brigmond and the late Ruth Carter Brigmond.

Survivors include: 4 Sisters: Frances Bennett and Debra Sue Stone both of Douglas, GA Luzene Soles of Claxton, GA Janice Ruth Smith of Willacoochee, GA 1 Brother: Alton Brigmond of Douglas, GA 1 Step Daughter: Anita Smith of the Lax Community 1 Adopted Granddaughter: Mia Bella Stone of Douglas, GA Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Elaine Keene and Rev. R. J. Bennett officiating. The interment will follow in Lax Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
