Odis Harper, age 91, of Broxton, GA passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Harper was born on August 28, 1924, in Ambrose, GA to the late Wiley Harper and Sally Spivey Harper.

Survivors include: his wife, Nola Lee Harper of Broxton, GA; three sons, Larry Wesley (Joyce) Harper of Ambrose, GA, Verlyn (Debra) Harper of Broxton, GA, and Gree (Dale) Harper of Broxton, GA; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ivey Harper; and six sisters, Evelyn Purvis, Eula Fussell, Alice Merritt, Edith Smith, Nellie Smith, and Anrice Grimes.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Bass officiating. Interment will follow at Griffin Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
