Nellie Jo Daniel Fussell, age 94, of Douglas, GA passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016, at Manor House following an extended illness. Mrs. Fussell was born on August 15, 1921, in Berrien County, GA to the late Issac Daniel and Bertha Buck Daniel.

Survivors include: her son, Norman (Mary Jo) Fussell of Douglas, GA; granddaughter, Felicia Ellis of Douglas, GA; two grandsons, Brian (Sheila) Fussell of Douglas, GA and Jeffery Patton of Valdosta, GA; six great-grandchildren, Lindsey Minis, B.J. Fussell, Courtlyn Fussell, Laura Ansley Ellis, Blaze (Stephen) Wilson, and Shemaine Shrouder; five great-great grandchildren, Collin Wilson, Charleigh Wilson, Hayden Morris, Easton Minis, and Allie Minis; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Fussell and a daughter, Jouida Ann Fussell.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church with Elder T. C. Norris, Elder Walt Deloach, and Elder Harold Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Union Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
