Bobby Eugene Grantham, age 77, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Grantham was born on February 1, 1939 in Douglas, GA to the late Cecil Jack Grantham, SR and the late Doris Carter Grantham.
He is survived by two sons: Bobby Wayne (Rebecca Ann) Grantham, of Douglas, GA and Michael Eugene (Sandra Vickers) Grantham, of Douglas, GA; two brothers: Cecil Jack Grantham, JR of Broxton, GA and Johnny E (Kay) Grantham, of Broxton, GA; eight sisters: Josephine Thurman, of Douglas, GA; Betty Ruth Whitley, of Douglas, GA; Doris Nell (John) Holton, of Alma, GA: Patricia Ann (Larry) Rowell, of Douglas, GA; Barbara Jean Miller, of Broxton, GA; Debra Gail (Curtis) Summerlin, of Douglas, GA; Annette Lynn (Benny) Dockery, of Broxton, GA; two grandchildren: Amber Nicholle Grantham, of Douglas, GA and Alex Christopher Grantham, of Douglas, GA; two great grandchildren: Lexi Rayne Grantham of Douglas, GA and Landon Gage Grantham of Douglas, GA. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jenny Elizabeth Lewis.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 15, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 Pm at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Grantham Family Cemetery, Douglas, GA.
