Billy D. Sapp, age 68, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Sapp was born on December 29, 1947, in Douglas, GA to the late Reason Sapp and Doll Matilda Lamb Sapp.
Survivors include: his wife, Jeannette Yarberry Sapp of Nicholls, GA; two sons, Larry Sapp of Douglas, GA and Kevin Sapp of Douglas, GA; sister, Bertie Gray of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren, Blake Sapp of Douglas, GA, Tyler Sapp of Hazlehurst, GA, and Kaylee Sapp of Hazlehurst, GA; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Wanell Johnson and a brother, Lucious Sapp.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Saving Grace Ministries with Rev. Cliff Kirkland and Rev. Russell McQuaig officiating. Interment will follow at Satilla Memorial Gardens.
