Mrs. Sallie Hutcheson Swinehart, age 82, of Alma, passed away Monday afternoon, August 15, 2016, at the Mayo Health Clinic in Waycross, Georgia following an extended illness. Mrs. Swinehart was born May 5, 1934, to the late Sammie Hutcheson and the late Addie Johnson Hutcheson.

Survivors include: 3 Children, Kenneth (Clara) Towns of Alma, GA, Terry (Brenda) Towns of Iron City, GA and Darrell Towns of Waycross, GA; 1 Sister, Jewel Rahaim of Jacksonville, Florida; 3 Brothers, Frank Hutcheson of Douglas, GA, J.H. “Bud” (Thelma) Hutcheson of Douglas, GA and Paul (Wanda) Hutcheson of Douglas, GA; Special Niece, Sherrill Brown of Alma, GA; 6 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews and other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday afternoon, August 18, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home, with Rev. Allen Hartsfield and Rev. Marshall Adcock officiating. The Interment will follow in the Douglas City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at Ricketson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
