Mr. Frank Pridgen, age 71, of Wray, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Pridgen was born on February 21, 1945, in Turner County, GA to the late Mitchel Ernest Pridgen and Della Mary Lewis Pridgen.
Survivors include: Wife: Jeanette Pridgen of Wray, GA; three daughters: Sydney Lee Andrews of Pridgen, GA; Eliza Louise (Scotty) Lott of Pridgen, GA, and Lesley (D.J. Harper) Pridgen of Pridgen, GA; Five grandchildren: Lari Lott, Cara Lott, Alexandria Andrews, Mitch Harper and Lucas Harper; Sister: Frances Andrews of Pridgen, GA; Brothers: E. F. Pridgen of Pridgen, GA and Freddie Wayne Pridgen of Pridgen, GA. Mr. Pridgen was preceded in death by: Father: Mitchel Ernest Pridgen, Mother: Della Mary Lewis Pridgen, Sister: Mitchelline Pridgen Kersey and Brother: Eddie Pridgen.
The Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home. Mr. Pridgen will Lie-in-State at Reedy Branch Baptist Church on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 3:00 until the funeral hour at 4:00 PM with Rev. Den Weniger officiating. Interment will follow at Pridgen Family Cemetery on Ernest Pridgen Rd. Wray, GA.
