Bobby McGee, age 65, of Glenwood, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Emory Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. McGee was born on October 31, 1950, in Douglas, GA to the late Roy S. McGee and Mary Edna Johnson McGee.
Survivors include: his wife, Margaret McGee of Glenwood, GA; two daughters, Samantha (Ron) Wilkinson of Glenwood, GA and Courtney (Josh) Locke of Hiram, GA; son, Roy A. (Marie) McGee of Glenwood, GA; sister, Brenda (Fred) Hall of Jackson, GA; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. James Troglen and Rev. Mark Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Cumorah Cemetery.
