Laura Laine Herndon, age 49, of Saint Simons Island, GA passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016, at her residence. Miss. Herndon was born on January 13, 1967, in Douglas, GA to the late John Wesley Herndon and Elaine Meeks Herndon.
Survivors include: her brother, Drew (Tammy) Herndon of Douglas, GA; niece, Lindsay Herndon of Cartersville, GA; and special friend, Sandra Sams. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Herndon and Elaine Meeks Herndon.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
