Miss Martha Elizabeth Lewis, age 60, of Douglas passed away suddenly Friday morning, September 9, 2016, at her residence, following a brief illness. She was born June 12, 1956 to the late Stephen Henry Lewis and the late Ruth Youmans Lewis.
Miss Lewis, a native of Thomasville, Georgia, was a former employee of Wal-Mart. She was also preceded in death by a Sister, Mary Anna Lewis. Miss Lewis was a Baptist by Faith.
Survivors include: Cousins, Anne Ring of Thomasville, GA, James B. Youmans, Jr. and Neal Youmans, both of Gordon, GA; Several Other Cousins, Friends, and Other Relatives.
Funeral Services will be Sunday, September 11, 2016, at 3:00 P. M., at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home, with Rev. Earl Flanagan officiating. Graveside Services and Interment will follow Monday morning, September 12, 2016, at 11:00 A. M., at Ramah Cemetery, near Gordon, Georgia in Wilkinson County. The family will be receiving friends, Sunday, from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.
