A shooting victim has been identified as the suspected murderer and assailant in a bizarre incident that occurred in Lakeland over the weekend.
GBI agents obtained arrest warrants for 20-year-old Lewis Shukung Geddie on one count of felony murder and one count of aggravated assault. Geddie is believed to be responsible for the death of Willis Lamar Flintroyal and the shooting of Schalonda Beatrice Johnson.
The GBI’s Douglas Regional Office assisted Lakeland police last Friday, Sept. 9, after authorities responded to a residence on Peeler Ave. in regards to the shootings of Flintroyal and Johnson. Upon arrival, officers found Flintroyal suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to South Georgia Medical Center in Lakeland, where he was pronounced dead. Johnson was also transported SGMC in Lakeland with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Geddie was later found by authorities suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at a nearby location. He was transported to South Ga. Medical Center in Valdosta.
GBI officials have named an individual identified as Fredrick Tyrone Calhoun as the suspect in the shooting of Geddie. He has been charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
