Local psychiatrist surrenders medical license

A Douglas psychiatrist voluntarily surrendered his license to the Georgia Composite Medical Board earlier this month.

Dr. Mubbashir M. Khan, who formerly opereated out of his office Psych Practice, LLC, located on Shirley Ave., offered his license to the board, which accepted the surrender on Sept. 6.

Details surrounding Dr. Khan’s license surrender are unknown at this time, but representatives at his former office stated the business is operating under a different name with new management.
