Fireside Pizza Shop, located inside the Atrium in Downtown Douglas, is celebrating four years of serving brick oven pizza and sandwiches to our community. Luke Christian, owner of Ranchero’s Fresh Grill, created the restaurant with the same build your own concept as Ranchero’s. Guests have the option of choosing specialty items as well as creating something uniquely their own.

Along with pizza, sandwiches and salads, guests can choose fresh bread bowl soups, cheesy bread and their choice of beverages. Beer and wine are served in bottles, with on tap beers available too. Currently featured is a beer from an Alpharetta, Georgia beer company, Jekyll Brewing.

Catering and office delivery have always been part of the guest services offered. This year, Fireside added online ordering. Orders can be place from their app (downloaded for Android and iOS), website (www.firesidepizzashop.com) or Facebook page (FiresidePizzaShop).

Last year, Fireside’s Carnivore Pizza was chosen by Georgia Eats – the official state culinary guide – as “100 Plates Locals Love.” The Carnivore features hand-tossed dough, mozzarella cheese and five meats. It is a fan favorite in Douglas, too.

Luke Christian, along with General Manager Daryl Clark and staff, would like to thank everyone for the support over the last four years. They invite everyone to check them out on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat for specials going on all week.
