Sam Patterson was the speaker at the Douglas Kiwanis Club meeting Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Flyin’ Cowboy restaurant.
Mr. Patterson gave a presentation on the restoration of a wood and canvas canoe that was made in 1945. After the meeting, he showed everyone the completed canoe.
The Kiwanis Club members enjoyed and appreciated his talk.
