Nine years ago this year something fresh and new came to Douglas, Ranchero’s Fresh Grill. Began by local entrepreneur, Luke Christian, Ranchero’s has fast become a favorite place to enjoy burritos, tacos, nachos, quesadillas, salads, chips & salsa and, of course, white cheese dip. Guests enjoy the build your own concept of Ranchero’s, allowing them to enjoy over 28 different topping options.

Several employees that were part of the original staff of Ranchero’s are still working with the company. Some have moved in to managerial positions, others are working in the management office.

Catering and office delivery continues to be a popular service offered. In recent years, online ordering has allowed guests to order from their phones on a downloaded app, on the website (www.rancherosfreshgrill.com), and on Facebook (RancherosFreshGrill). With the popularity of social media, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat have become a way Ranchero’s interacts with guests.

Over the last nine years, there have been many changes in the company. New restaurants were opened in Waycross and Tifton. Fresher Brands Mgmt., LLC was formed to manage these and other restaurants they opened. Currently, a fourth company-owned restaurant is under construction in Dublin.

Franchising efforts have begun, and two new franchised restaurants will be opened in early 2017 in Jesup and Moultrie. Training is going on for the move into franchising. Because of the move to franchising, re-branding of the company has begun. Same staff, same fresh flavor – only better. More information on this will be available in the near future.

Luke Christian and his family, managers, and staff would like to thank everyone in Douglas and surrounding areas for their support over the last nine years. They are excited about all the new ways they will be able to serve communities in the near future.
