Carla Harper Paulk, age 54, of Willacoochee, Ga passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016, at her residence following a brief illness. Mrs. Paulk was born on August 8, 1962, in Ambrose, Ga to Neva Evelyn Nugent Harper and the late George Harper.

Survivors include: her husband, William Mark “Billy” Paulk of Willacoochee, Ga; two daughters, Carol (Ricky) Hutchison of Douglas, Ga and Brooke Vickers of Douglas, Ga; two sons, Cade (Amy) Paulk of Willacoochee, Ga and Alex Paulk of Ocilla, Ga; four grandchildren, Cameron Hutchison, Gunner Hutchison, Joxon Paulk, and Jude Paulk; mother, Neva Evelyn Harper and the late George Harper of Ambrose, Ga; two brothers, George Darrell (Kathy) Harper of Ambrose, Ga and Walter Joe Harper of Ambrose, Ga; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Kay Paulk; sister-in-law, Emily Veal; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Highsmith and two brothers, Larry Harper and Jerry Harper.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 P.M. at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Littleton and Rev. Phillip Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
