The Douglas-Coffee County Public Library held a Children’s Halloween Party Saturday, October 22, 2016. Children had the option to dress up in costume.

There were various games including a mummy wrap competition, pin the spider on the web, bug/spider toss arts and crafts making ghosts, spiders, puppets, and more! A special interactive Halloween story time was held as well.

Children received a small prize for each game in which they participated. A drawing was held for a Halloween children’s DVD and Halloween pen. Refreshments were served. Everyone had a great time!

For more information about upcoming children’s, tween, and teen programs or to schedule a field trip or classroom visit, please call Julie Macomber, Children’s and Young Adult Librarian, at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222 or contact via e-mail: macomberj @ srlsys.org.
