City of Douglas Utilities notified residents Tuesday that Ricketson Construction will have a planned water outage on Wednesday, November 2, from approximately 5 to 9 p.m. to lower an 8” water line that is in conflict with the installation of a 36” storm drain pipe that will cross Old Axson Rd.

City representatives urge residents to make necessary arrangements to be prepared to be without water during this time period.

“We apologize for any inconveniences that this may cause our customers,” officials stated.

The map pictured above highlights the location that will be affected by the outage.

For questions or concerns, call the city’s 311 Customer Care Center at 3-1-1 or 912-384-3302.
