West Green holds annual spelling bee

West Green Elementary School held its annual Spelling Bee Wednesday, November 9, 2016.

Participants from fourth grade were Ansley Day, Ryder Smith, Ismael Matias, Maria Saavedra, Aaron Drury, Carter Holley, Aidan Gonzalez, Griffin Anderson, Tanley Hodge, and Starla Baggett.

Fifth grade participants were Mari Fletcher, Kassidy Waldron, Terri Coleman, Gracie Winkler, McKenzie Davis, Jase Odum, Edwin Perez, Jordi Caballero, Cameron Clement, Frankie Banda, and Connor Woods.

The top three spellers will represent West Green Elementary School at the County Spelling Bee on Thursday, January 26.

We would like to congratulate our winners: Terri Coleman (1st Place), Frankie Banda (2nd Place), Jordi Caballero (3rd Place), and Aaron Drury (Alternate).

We are proud of all of the participants this year!
