Pearlie Privett, age 73, of Douglas, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla. following an extended illness. Mrs. Privett was born on November 5, 1943, in Willacoochee, Ga. to the late George Washington Richardson and Effie Kay Davis Richardson.

Survivors include: her husband, Irvin C. Privett, Sr. of Douglas, Ga.; three sons, James Luke (Julia) Singleton of Douglas, Ga., Joseph Hannah Singleton of Rebecca, Ga., and Irvin Charles (Tracie) Privett, Jr., of Orange Park, Fla.; daughter, Shirley Ann (Alanzo) Gonzalez of Americus, Ga.; six grandchildren, Brandon (Brittany) Singleton of Jacksonville, Fla., Christy (William) Cato of Douglas, Ga., Amanda Kirkland of Douglas, Ga., Rachael Privett of Orange Park, Fla., Andrew Privett of Orange Park, Fla., and Chris (Cassie Dawn) Griffis of Douglas, Ga.; two sisters, Earnestine Dibble of Douglas, Ga. and Betty (Ray) Dickerson of Jacksonville, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Levi Jones and Rev. Glenn Fussell officiating. Interment will follow at Satilla Memorial Gardens.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
