Mrs. Norma Kay Vickers Dockery, age 68, of Broxton passed away late Tuesday night, November 29, 2016 at Specialty Hospital of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness. Mrs. Dockery was born February 25, 1948 to the late Grady Vickers and the late Bertha White Vickers. She was also preceded in death by a brother Ronald Vickers.

Survivors include: Her Husband: John William “J. W.” Dockery of Broxton, GA; 3 Children: Jennifer (Richard) McDonald of Homerville, GA, Norman (Shantae) Dockery and Amelia (Joel) Auger both of Broxton, GA; 2 Brothers: Donald Vickers of Bridgetown, GA, J. O. Vickers of Tifton, GA; 2 Sisters: Beverly Duncan of Jacksonville, FL, Judy Vickers of Ambrose, GA; 9 Grandchildren: Alyssa (R. J.) Lago of Louisville, KY, Alysson McDonald of Homerville, GA, Emma Grace Auger, William Auger, Callie Dockery and Anna Dockery all of Broxton, GA, Melanie McAnn of Valdosta, GA and Jessica Limon of Oklahoma City, OK; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Friday, December 2, 2016, at 4:00 P.M. at Reedy Branch Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Clements officiating. The interment will follow in Reedy Branch Cemetery. Mrs. Dockery will be placed in the church at 3:00 P. M. on Friday to lie in state until the funeral hour. The family will be receiving friends, Thursday evening, December 1, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
