Mrs. Evelyne Hall Evans, age 80, of Douglas passed away Monday afternoon, December 5, 2016, at St. Vincent Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, following a short illness. She was born January 30, 1936 to the late Otis Hall and the late Mae Dell Higgs Hall. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by 2 brothers Bill Hall and Leroy Hall and 1 Grandchild Joanie Evans.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters, Janet (Jack) Harper and Patsy Evans, all of Douglas, GA; 1 Son, Tim (Sandra) Evans of Alma, GA; 3 Sisters, Carolyn Griffin of Alapaha, GA, Juanita Watson of Douglas, GA and Irma (Rowland) Folsom of Adel, GA; 2 Brothers, Ernest (Ouida) Hall of Lakeland, GA and Earl (Evelyn) Hall of Nashville, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Scott Harper and Rex Harper both of Douglas, GA, T. J. Evans and Joshua Evans both of Alma, GA; 6 Great Grandchildren, Ariel, Lani and Sam Harper; Gavin, Keegan and Evan Harper; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 8, 2016, at 2:00 P. M., at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home, with Rev. John Carver and Rev. Doyle Adams officiating. The Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Jeff Davis County. The family will begin receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
