The Douglas Police Department is offering a Citizens Police Academy course that will begin Thursday, February 2. Class hours will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. every Thursday night through March 23.
Participants do not have to be a resident of Douglas to attend this course. It is open to anyone over 18 years of age. Registration deadline is January 27, 2017.
