Each nine weeks, students at West Green Elementary have the opportunity to earn a special reward called “Pizza with the Principal” at the end of the grading period.
There were first, second, and fifth grade students who earned the reward for the end of the second nine weeks. The first grade students who earned the reward have learned at least 600 sight words. The second grade students who earned the reward have at least 75 Reading Counts points, while the fifth grade students have read at least one million words.
We are very proud of these students and their great accomplishments so far this school year!
