Satilla Regional Library will be holding the following programs during the month of March for children and teens. Come and join the fun at Satilla Regional Library!

Ongoing Programs

Audio Spot Auditions for Children and Teens Ages 9-18 years of age!

Come and audition for a public service announcement to possibly be played on the radio! Auditions will be held at all locations in Douglas, Broxton, Ambrose, Pearson, Willacoochee, and Nicholls throughout the year.

Please call Miss Julie at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222 to schedule an appointment at any of our locations.

A permission slip must be signed by a parent/guardian before auditioning if under 18 and given to Miss Julie. Permission slips are available at each branch location or by going online to http://www.srlsys.org/NEW_Audio_Permission_Slip.pdf.

Board Games, Cards, and Puzzles for Children and Teens

All branches include an assortment of board games, cards, and puzzles that can be played at any time. Come and check one out to use at each location.

Children’s Programming

Story and Craft Program at all locations!

Douglas: Mondays at 3:30 p.m.

Broxton: Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m.

Ambrose: Tuesdays at 4:45 p.m.

Pearson: Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m.

Willacoochee: Wednesdays at 4:45 p.m.

Nicholls: Thursdays at 3:30 p.m.

Douglas STEAM for School-Age Children Program

March Meeting: Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 12:00-1:00 p.m.in the Large Meeting Room at the Douglas/Coffee County Public Library

Come and join the fun with S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and mathematics) as the group works on a project for each child incorporating different aspects of STEAM each month for six months. Lots of fun and hands-on experiences! Come to our first meeting and see what we will be working on This program will run from November 2016-April 2017.

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services Library Services and Technology Act Grants to States Program.

Saturday, March 11 and 25 at 12:30 p.m.
Willacoochee: Saturday, March 4 and 18 at 12:30 p.m.

Family Night Movie in Willacoochee-Double Feature

Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4:00-7:30 p.m. at the Willacoochee Public Library
Children’s Movie: 4:00-5:30 p.m.
Teen Movie: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Vote on one of our new titles or choose one from the collection to watch, refreshments and beverages will be served.

Pearson Legos Architecture Program for Pre-Teens and Teens
