On Friday, March 24, 2017, South Georgia State College (SGSC) is offering a Spring Preview Day on the Douglas Campus to provide prospective students with opportunities to tour the campus, learn about the admission and financial aid processes, discover a wide variety of academic programs, and find out more about student life.
Registration begins at 9:30 am at Peterson Hall. During this time, a meet-and-greet with department representatives and student organization advisors and members will be held. Parents and potential students can ask current students what it is like to attend the school and participate in one or more of the many clubs and organizations that make up student life.
Greetings and introductions begin at 10:00 am in Peterson Hall, followed by an information session and break-out groups tailored for student interests. Guided tours of the academic halls, residence halls, and other campus amenities will be led by SGSC’s admissions staff. A complimentary lunch will be provided by SGSC in the dining hall for guests. Engram Hall will remain open for students after lunch for visitation to Admissions, Bookstore, Financial Aid, and Residence Life and Housing.
