Coffee Middle School FCCLA spent the weekend in Athens at our State Leadership Conference and competition. Even though CMS had fewer students compete this year, they did great! Sixth grader Adlyn Eldridge competed in Career Investigation Junior Category (6th through 9th grade) and placed 4th out of 18 earning a silver medal.

Addie Grace Parker and Emma Wilkerson placed 1st in Illustrated Talk Junior Event, competing against others in 6th through 9th grades—again, one of the toughest events!! They earned one of only two gold medals awarded in their category scoring 90 or above. They earned a nearly perfect score of 98! Addie Grace and Emma will go on to compete on the national level this summer in Nashville, Tennessee at the National Leadership Conference and STAR Events!

Kam Gillis competed in the state event Creed Speaking and Interpretation. He placed 3rd among 20+ students! CMS & CHS FCCLA award winners! Also, Zadrian Moffett was awarded an FCCLA Scholarship for his years of participation in FCCLA and plan to major in a FACS area!  We are so proud of all of these students

Congratulations to our students. We are proud of the hard work you put into your projects and events. We also appreciate the parents’ and community’s support of Coffee Middle School and FCCLA.
