Failing to appear in criminal court will result in a warrant being issued for your arrest.

Steven Lamar Railey was arrested by an officer with the Douglas – Coffee H.E.A.T. Unit on Nov. 6, 2016 on multiple charges including driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, and failing to stop at a stop sign. He was also jailed at that time for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possession of a drug-related object and operating a water vessel under the influence.

Railey again failed to appear in state court on his Nov. 6 charges, and another bench warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. Coffee County deputies spotted Railey Tuesday morning while responding to an unrelated call at an Ambrose business. He was arrested at that time on the outstanding bench warrants and transported to the Coffee County Jail.
