A man wanted since February on domestic violence charges for striking his pregnant girlfriend and other offenses is behind bars at the Coffee County Jail.

Cameron Blake Adams, 28, had evaded law enforcement since a Feb. 14 incident in which he is accused of striking the 23-year-old victim with a closed fist and shoving her to the ground, causing visible injuries. Adams fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement, and warrants were obtained for simple battery and disorderly conduct. Deputies returned to the victim’s home on March 9 following a dispatch that stated Adams was on the property. Authorities located him inside the home, but were unable to detain him after he fled through a back door.

Officers located Adams on Tuesday, March 21, and booked into the Coffee County Jail shortly after 5 p.m. He faces numerous charges in regards to the above incidents including simple battery, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and obstruction of law enforcement.
