Robert James Queen Royal, 40, of Douglas, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday morning, March 21, 2017 at Wrightsville Manor Nursing Home.

Mr. Royal was born in Augusta, GA, August 26, 1976 to Thomas Miller Royal, Sr. and Linda Worth Royal. Mr. Royal had lived in Douglas for the past 23 years. Mr. Royal was a graduate of Coffee County High School. He was employed as a truck driver and was Baptist by faith. Mr. Royal was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Miller Royal, Sr. Funeral services will be held at the Broxton Church of God in Broxton, GA, Friday morning, March 24, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held at the church one hour before service time. Burial will follow at the Douglas City Cemetery. Rev. Milton Pate will be the officiating minister.

Mr. Royal is survived by his mother and step father, Linda Silvery and Frank Byrd, both of Douglas; one daughter, Katlin Sarah Royal of Douglas; one brother, Thomas Miller Royal, Jr. of Douglas; step sister, Tara Silvery of Grovetown, GA; one grandchild. Brantley Funeral Home of Wrightsville will be in charge of arrangements.
