Mr. Raymond Luke, age 88, of Douglas passed away early Tuesday morning, Mar. 28, 2017, at Coffee Regional Medical Center, following a short illness. He was born Aug. 9, 1928 to the late Riley Luke and the late Nellie Jernigan Luke Brown.
Survivors include: Wife Frances Fortune Luke of Douglas, GA; sons Alan (Debbie) Luke of Douglas, GA and Brick (Karen) Luke of Columbus, GA; sisters Ludell Harper of Ambrose, GA, Carolyn Black of Supply, North Carolina, and Mozelle Pridgen of Broxton, GA; grandchildren Alison Luke (Michael, Jr.) O’Steen of Douglas, GA, Erica Luke of Valdosta, GA, Kristin (Robb) Riddell of Columbus, GA, and Matthew (Emily) Luke of Dahlonega, GA; great-grandchildren Sarah Frances O’Steen, Russ O’Steen, and Elizabeth O’Steen, all of Douglas, GA, and Noah Riddell of Columbus, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Mar. 30, 2017, at 10:30 A. M., at Northside Baptist Church. The interment followed in the Douglas City Cemetery.
Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
