April is Autism Awareness month. The Autism Awareness puzzle ribbon is a symbol to show how unique, colorful pieces join together as one in support of those with autism. We proudly wear our ribbons to honor Connor Woods, a 5th grade student at West Green Elementary School. Connor’s sweet, humble, fun- loving personality makes it easy to adore him. He is loved by his classmates and all the faculty and staff. To show our support for Connor, a display was created in the hallway near the library and students, faculty, and staff purchased t-shirts with Connor’s name on them. Our school was a sea of blue in support of our precious Connor! West Green Elementary is blessed to have such a special boy as a part of our school family!
