Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is pleased to announce that the Georgia Driver’s Education Commission has scholarships available for the Driver’s Education program. The scholarship covers the full fee of $350, so there is no cost to the parent.

Joshua’s Law requires 30 hours of classroom instruction and six additional hours of drive time with an instructor to receive a Class D license. Participants must be at least 15 years of age and possess a learner’s permit. Registrations and scholarship applications must be completed online. Wiregrass strongly encourages everyone to apply for a scholarship through the Georgia Driver’s Education Commission regardless of income.

For additional information, to register, and/or to apply for a scholarship, http://www.wiregrass.edu/conted/drivers_ed.php. Scholarships will go fast, so register now.
