Mrs. Inez Davis, age 71, of Alma, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Bacon County Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Davis was born on March 6, 1946 in Douglas, GA to the late Willie Glenn McMillian and the late Alma Carver McMillian.
Survivors include: her three daughters: Jonna Courson, Douglas, GA, Alma G Watkins, Douglas, GA and Donna J (Lanny) Carter; Alma, GA; her son Ray Davis, Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Emma Carter, Nicholls, GA and Barbara Suggs, Bradenton, FL; Eleven grandchildren, Catherine D Lee, Amanda Watkins, Michael J Watkins, Santana Chavez, Anna Moran, London Courson, Landry Courson, Haley Johns, Alex Thomas, Dalton Carter and Shelby Carter; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Davis.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 4:00 PM at the chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Levi Jones and Pastor Brandon McMillian officiating.
Internment followed at Purvis Cemetery at Calvary Church in Ambrose, GA.
