Johnnie Sue Gonzolez, age 64, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Gonzolez was born on November 19, 1952, in Douglas, GA to the late John Henry Guess and Magdalene Holton Guess.

Survivors include: her husband, Rigoberto Gonzelez of Ambrose, GA.; daughter, Brandi (Lupe) Garcia White of Douglas, GA.; son, William Christopher (Mandy) White of Anniston, AL.; three sisters, Lucille (Jimmy) Brown of Hazelhurst, GA., Patsy (Carey) Sherrod of Douglas, GA., and Nancy (Freddie) Fowler of Tampa, FL; brother, Donald (Dee) Guess of Blackshear, GA.; grandchildren, Ashley (Tyler) White, Angel (Ulexia) Ramos, Alexis (Miguel) Garcia and Ronnie White; great-grandchildren, Brayden Rowell, Kash White, Erica Breanna Watson and Michael Alexander Smith; friends, Cheryl Logue of Douglas, GA., Angela Davis of Douglas, GA., and Mrs. Carol of Douglas, GA.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Magdalen Guess; sister, Jackie Burch; and a brother, Wayne Guess.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home. Interment followed at Satilla Memorial Gardens.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
