Bobby Clemons, age 61, of Douglas, Ga. passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Clemons was born on April 20, 1956, in Chattanooga, TN to Jean Carolyn Courson and the late Albert Clemons.
Survivors include: his mother, Jean Clemons of Douglas, Ga.; daughters, Whitney Ann Chaney of Pearson, Ga. and April Leann Walker of Douglas, Ga.; sisters, Sherry Morgan and Sabrina Carver both of Douglas, Ga.; brother, Lewis Clemons of Patterson, Ga.; grandchildren, Baily Clemons, Braydon Clemons, Leah Clemons, Hunter Chaney, Landon Walker, Gavin Walker, West Walker, and Easton Walker; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Clemons.
Funeral Service were held on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Sand Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Lycett and Rev. Kevin Bounds officiating.
Interment followed at Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
