Dorothy Jane Polk, age 61, of Macon, GA. passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017, at Coliseum Northside Hospital following an extended illness. Ms. Polk was born on June 11, 1956, in Norfolk, VA to the late Donnie Edward Fortune and Regina Louise Theall Fortune.

Survivors include: her sisters, Donna Turner of Macon, GA., Regina Story of Macon, GA., Catherine (Neil Johns) Copeland of Leesburg, GA., and Pennie (Mac) Juhan of Macon, GA.; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service were held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Charles Jones officiating.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
