Wiregrass to offer ServSafe food safety course

Wiregrass Georgia Tech will offer the ServSafe Food Safety course on July 10 on the Coffee Campus.

ServSafe is the foodservice industry’s premier food safety training and certification course. It is recognized by more federal, state and local health jurisdictions than any other food safety training program in the U.S.  The ServSafe course is recommended for all types of food service managers.  This is a great opportunity to obtain your national certification and updates your skills in food-borne illness prevention. 

The class is not only for those that work in the public food businesses but for anyone who serves food. The class will be held on Monday, July 10 starting at 8 a.m. at the Wiregrass Coffee Campus located at 107 West Baker Highway in Douglas.

The class is limited to 20 participants. The cost is $180 for registration and exam fee. Pre-registration is required. To register or get more information about this course, contact Nancy Mitchell at 229-468-2074 or nancy.mitchell@wiregrass.edu.
