Johnnie Stevens, Jr., age 68, of Douglas, Ga. passed away on Satruday, July 22, 2017, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Stevens was born on September 3, 1948, in Douglas, Ga. to the late Johnnie Stevens, Sr. and Vera Brigmond Stevens.
Survivors include: his wife, Sharon Ann Tarrant Stevens of Douglas, Ga.; son, Jarred (Kristin) Stevens of Douglas, Ga.; sisters: Jeanette Underwood of Cordele, Ga. and Sandra Swank of Valdosta, Ga.; granddaughter, Rylee Grace Stevens of Douglas, Ga.; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery.
Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
