Coffee Regional is pleased to announce that Jesse Kane, M.D., of CRH Womens’ Center, has been notified by the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) that he has successfully met the criteria and has passed the examination necessary to become a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP). Dr. Kane is one of only 15 Certified Menopause Practitioners in the state of Georgia.
Founded in 1989, NAMS is North America’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health and quality of life through an understanding of menopause. Those who hold the NCMP certification have demonstrated special interest and competency in the field of menopause. According to Dr. Kane, “The NCMP credential gives patients a way to know that I have the in-depth knowledge to guide them through decisions they will make about medications, alternative remedies and lifestyle choices at this time in their lives.”
“We congratulate Dr. Kane on achieving this important certification”, said Vicki Lewis, CRMC President/CEO. “This credential demonstrates to patients that Dr. Kane has a special skill set in caring for patients during menopause and beyond and is kept up to date scientifically.”
Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Kane received his Doctorate of Medicine from Temple University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, and completed his residency at the University of Florida, Gainesville. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Medical Society. Dr. Kane is in practice at CRH Womens’ Center at 2010 Ocilla Road, Douglas.
