Alton Deen, age 39, of Douglas, Ga. passed away suddenly on Monday, August 28, 2017. Mr. Deen was born on February 21, 1978, in Douglas, Ga. to Jackie Deen and Modena Davis Deen.

Survivors include: his parents: Jackie and Modena Davis Deen of Douglas, Ga.; long-term partner, Mariah Wilson of Douglas, Ga.; children: Kensley Wilson and Tony Wilson both of Douglas, Ga.; brothers: Richard Deen, of Douglas, Ga., Zackiary Deen of Douglas, Ga., Gregory Deen of Brunswick, Ga., Justin Deen of Swainsboro, Ga., Jeremy Deen of Swainsboro, Ga., Matthew Deen of Swainsboro, Ga., Fabian Deen of Swainsboro, Ga., and Kenny Deen of Swainsboro, Ga.; sisters: Melissa Hallow of Bishop, Ga., Angela Deen of Douglas, Ga., Taylor Deen of Douglas, Ga., Kiana Deen of Douglas, Ga., and Patty Deen of Douglas, Ga.; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 30, 2017, from 6 to 9 p.m at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at 4 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
