Mr. Robert Irvin Sprinkle, age 70, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Coffee Reginal Medical Center Mr. Sprinkle was born on May 14, 1947, in Glynn Co. Georgia to the late Samuel Irvin Sprinkle and Myrtle Louise Ely Sprinkle.

Survivors include: wife, Mary Sprinkle of Douglas, GA; sons: Robert (Pamela) Sprinkle of Douglas, GA, Richard Sprinkle of Douglas, GA, Randall (Cynthia) Sprinkle of Douglas, GA; brothers: Elton Steptoe of Jacksonville, FL, Danny Malone of Jacksonville, FL, Wayne Malone of Jacksonville, FL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service was held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 4 p.m. at the West Green Baptist Church where Rev. Kevin Bounds officiated. Songs selected for the service: “Without Him” performed by; church choir, “If Tomorrow Never Comes,” and “Daddy Doesn’t Pray Anymore” by CD.

“Go Rest High on That Mountain” by CD played at graveside. Active Pallbearers: Mathew Sprinkle, Stephen Sprinkle, Richard Sprinkle, Carl Mark Sprinkle, James Harley, Kevin Wise, Ned Carson, and Carroll Dale. Honorary Pallbearers: The Deacons of West Green Baptist Church and Harry Andrews. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
