Mrs. Debra Kay Stokes, age 58, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017, at Candler County Hospital. Mrs. Stokes was born July 4, 1959, in Douglas, Ga. to the late Etheridge Davis and Nora Sue Cobb Davis.

Survivors include: husband, Don Stokes of Douglas, GA.; son, Matt (Ellie) Stokes of Douglas, GA.; brothers: Glenn (Kay) Davis of West Green, GA and Terry (Sheila) Davis of Ambrose, GA.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home where Rev. Milton Pate officiated. Music furnished by CD, “Amazing Grace My Chains Are Gone” by CD. Songs Selection by: Rick Griswald. Pianist: Lois Mills.

Active Pallbearers were: Mitch Yarberry, Andrew Davis, Mikal Davis, Chris Davis, Adam Davis, Brent Vickers and Ryan Vickers. Honorary Pallbearers were: Coffee County Employees. Interment followed at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
