Haunted houses and trails are the most popular attractions to visit during the month of October. This year the Martin Centre partnered with Family Fun Halloween store to present, Haunted Theater: Your scariest movies have come to life. Starting on Friday, October 13, 2017, The Martin Centre will open its doors on October 30, Halloween night and every weekend of October for everyone to come experience all the scariest characters from their favorite horror movies.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is $10 per person. The haunted house is recommended for children 10 and older. “The haunted house will be chills and thrills,” said William Minkema, The Martin Centre manager. Groups will have the chance to walk a dim and spooky path that will capture your greatest fear. According to Minkema, there will even be a few surprises.

On October 28, 2017, the Martin Centre will be hosting its Kid’s Day Movie event at 2 p.m. Entry is $10. There will be a free movie matinee, It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, and a red carpet where kids can take pictures with their favorite superheroes. Make sure you come in your best costume because there will also be a costume contest.

There will be a coffee bar and novelty items in addition to the regular concessions items. Pumpkin spice, hot cider, hot chocolate, ice coffee and more will be available to purchase before the movie.

Make sure you mark your calendar, share with your friends and prepare for a night of anticipation.
