Mrs. Edith Perryleen Peters, age 78, of Orange Park, Fla., passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Brooksdale Orange Park Fla. Mrs. Peters was born on May 7, 1939, in Alma, Georgia to the late Donald Davidson and Mary Elizabeth Streat Davidson.

Survivors include: her daughters: Athena Rodgers and her husband Roger Goddard of Douglas, Ga., Vicky and her husband Randall McKinnon of Douglas, Ga.; son, Cecil Snipes of Jacksonville, Fla.,Shane Snipes of Jacksonville, Fla; grandchildren: Adam Hughes, Amanda Tharp,Tammy Robertson, Sara Snipes and Mathew McKinnon; 8 great-grand children; 1-great-greatgrandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service were held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Meeks Cemetery where Rev. Jesse Stevens officiated.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
