Shannon Ashley Rewis, age 28, of Douglas, Ga. passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Coffee Reginal Medical Center. Mr Rewis was born on September 23, 1989, in Douglas, Georgia to Betty Hall Rewis and the late Richard Rewis.

Survivors include: his mother, Betty Rewis of Nicholls, Ga.; daughter, Kendall Rosafay Rewis; sons: Richard Wayne Rewis and Ashton Bentley Rewis; sister, Kelly and her husband Richard Dejesus of Frostproof, Fla.,; brother, Shane and his wife Ashley Rewis of Frostproof, Fla.,; grandmother, Morning Smith of Douglas, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Atkinson County, where Rev. Paul Anderson and Rev. Floyd Tanner officiated.

Interment followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
