South Georgia State College’s (SGSC) men’s basketball team will open its regular season Thursday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. against Skill Factory Academy. The game will be played in the Douglas Campus gymnasium, which is located inside SGSC’s Wellness Center.

The Waycross Campus home opener will be Saturday, Nov. 11 against USC-Salkehatchie. Tip for the Nov. 11 game is set for 4 p.m.

The Hawks had a very successful preseason, playing scrimmages against Middle Georgia State University and Action Sports Academy. The coaches of the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association have ranked the Hawks third in the conference preseason poll behind Georgia Highlands and Gordon State.

General admission to all regular season home games is five dollars with children five and under admitted free.
