Mr. David Zanders, age 50, of Douglas, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Orange Park Florida. Mr. Zanders was born on November 2, 1967, in Douglas, Georgia to Josephine Davis Jackson and the late Herbert Bradford Zanders.
Mr. Zanders is survived by: his wife, Denise Zanders of Douglas, Ga.; mother, Josephine and husband William Jackson of Douglas, Ga.; sons: Kevin Zanders of Douglas, Ga., Matthew Zanders of Douglas, Ga.; and several grandchildren. He is preceded in death by: his father, Herbert Zanders; brother, Herbert Zanders; and grandson, Levi Zanders.
The funeral service was held on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Lang Memorial Church, Hwy 441 N., Homerville, Ga., where Rev. Clyde Purvis officiated. Interment followed at the Lang Memorial Cemetery.
Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
