Mr. Julian Brantley, age 74, of Douglas, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, in Douglas, Ga., Mr. Brantley was born on Nov. 6, 1943, in Douglas, Georgia to the late Frank Brantley and Opal Harper Brantley.
Mr. Brantley was survived by: his wife, Betty Brantley of Douglas, Ga.; sons: Kevin and his wife Jen Brantley of Bradenton, Fla., Roy Matthews and his wife Brittney of Bainbridge, Ga.; daughter, Leslie and her husband Stacey Teston of Douglas, Ga.; sisters: Maxine Lamb and Jean Lewis; brothers: Jack Brantley, Jessie Brantley, Jimmy Brantley; grandchildren: Colin Feikema, Kade Teston, Morgan Teston, Ramsey Mathews, Carlee Mathews.
Mr. Brantley was preceded in death by: his mother, Opal Harper Brantley; father, Frank Brantley; daughter, Gina Brantley; sister, Audrey Raines; brothers: Billy Brantley and Tony Brantley.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Sims funeral home where Rev. George Carroll Paulk and Jack Brantley officiated. Music furnished for the service with the following songs: “Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art,” and “It Is Well With My Sole” perform by Angie Odum.
Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
